Health Management Associates Standardizes on RL6 for Incident and Patient Feedback Management
American Hospital Association-endorsed solution to be implemented throughout Health Management’s 59 hospital locations across the United States
Toronto, ON (September 14, 2011)—RL Solutions, developers of innovative and easy-to-use healthcare quality and safety software, announced today that Health Management Associates (NYSE:HMA) will be deploying RL6 throughout its system to manage adverse events and patient feedback.
Health Management currently operates 59 facilities in 15 states with approximately 8,900 licensed
beds and 35,800 dedicated Associates. The company recently identified the need for a safety
software system that is web-based and facilitates the use of dashboards, tracking and trending by
each facility. The ability to migrate information from Health Management's previous incident
reporting system was also a must. After a thorough search and analysis, the organization decided
on RL6 from RL Solutions. RL6 will allow Health Management leadership to capture, manage and
analyze both incidents and patient feedback, while providing a fully robust, configurable and web-based reporting system.
