RL Solutions announces its 2008 User Group Conference (RL UGC08). Leading healthcare organizations from around North America and leaders to speak at annual event

Toronto, ON, May 7, 2008 – RL Solutions, the leading provider of healthcare quality and safety software that helps organizations manage infection control issues, patient feedback, medication errors, adverse events, employee comments, medical incidents, claims and quality issues, announced today that healthcare leaders from around North America will be gathering at its 2008 User Group Conference (RL UGC08). Leading healthcare organizations and thought leaders to speak at annual event

Taking place from May 7th - 9th, 2008 at the Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, RL UGC08 is the premier event for RL Solutions clients to learn more about the company’s current products, and future product plans. Packed with in-depth learning sessions, client case studies and presentations from healthcare experts, RL UGC08 provides delegates with the opportunity to network and learn with peers, RL staff, and thought leaders from leading healthcare organizations.

Keynoting the event will be Jessica Holmes, one of Canada’s foremost comedians. Jessica has won the Platinum Award at Houston’s International Comedy Festival for her comedy special Holmes Alone, and has appeared in such movies as Welcome to Mooseport, Zoe Busiek Wildcard, and the upcoming Citizen Duane. Jessica is also Star of the Canadian series Royal Canadian Air Farce.

“This year’s UGC theme is Making you a Healthcare Star,” said Sanjay Malaviya, President & CEO, RL Solutions. “We chose this theme because we wanted to show appreciation for the commitment our clients have for improving the safety and quality of healthcare for patients around the world. From our perspective they truly are the ‘stars’ in their organizations and over the three days with us, we hope to inspire and excite them about the year ahead. We are honored to be working with these leading organizations and the entire RL Solutions family is looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones at this year’s event.”

“The annual User Group Conference gives our clients the opportunity to meet face to face and to discuss their healthcare quality initiatives with like minded individuals,” added Colin Hung, Vice President, Alliances and Marketing, RL Solutions and this year’s Conference Director. “It also allows our staff and domain experts to learn directly from the people who use our products on a daily basis. The feedback and ideas that our clients provide at our annual event is invaluable. Our UGC truly is the cornerstone event of our year.”

More than 150 healthcare professionals from across North America and Australia will be attending this year’s event. In addition to hearing from leading organizations such as Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and University of Virginia Medical Center, the 2008 UGC will also host thought leaders who are helping to shape the healthcare landscape, including Fay Rozovsky of The Rozovsky Group, Vanderbilt University, ECRI Institute, Dialog Medical, and Reliability Center.
