Healthcare organizations can comply with new rules using Claims MonitorPro®
Cambridge (March 25, 2010) - RL Solutions, the leading provider of healthcare quality and safety software, announced today that version 3.0 of Claims MonitorPro (CMPro) is fully compliant with CMS Secondary Payor Reporting. Healthcare organizations can now successfully meet their MMSEA and SCHIP reporting requirements and submit required information to the CMS.
CMPro users can now upgrade to version 3.0 to meet the CMS reporting requirements well ahead of the revised January 1, 2011 deadline set for the first production NGHP Input Files.
CMPro has an easy-to-use interface for integrated medical malpractice and professional liability claims management. Version 3.0 provides pick lists and calendar pop-ups, and enforces mandatory field entry to ensure all users capture MMSEA data in the expected formats. CMPro does not require healthcare organizations to use specialized IT or third parties to handle claims processing, making it easier for claims managers to administer their quarterly submissions.
"Claims managers are busy people," says Colin Hung, VP of Alliances & Marketing at RL Solutions, "That’s why CMPro takes care of the details of MMSEA reporting – managers just have to capture the required information within existing claim files. When they want to submit information to CMS, it just takes three simple steps to format it properly."
