Demos at booth 401 will include new Root Cause and Peer Review modules, as well as advanced dashboard functionality. RL Solutions invites all ASHRM attendees to the RL County Fair, a celebration of risk professionals, on Monday, October 28th.
TORONTO, Oct. 25, 2013—RL Solutions, creators of easy-to-use healthcare quality and safety software, will demonstrate RL6:RootCause and RL6:PeerReview, the newest products in the RL6 patient safety suite, at ASHRM 2013 in Austin, Texas in booth 401. Advanced dashboard functionality will also be showcased.
With RL6:PeerReview, organizations can now manage peer reviews in one convenient, secure system, while helping physicians fulfill ongoing professional practice evaluations. RL6:RootCause helps organizations pinpoint the causes of an adverse event, and identify improvements that translate into improved patient safety and outcomes. Both of these new products are part of the RL6 patient safety suite, and integrate with RL’s American Hospital Association endorsed risk management software, RL6:Risk.
With advanced dashboards, users will be able to explore their data in an interactive fashion to uncover trends that would not be present in a static report. In addition, users can create and publish dashboards - without the assistance of a technical resource - that make use of run-time filtering and drill-down capabilities.
"ASHRM is a special time for RL Solutions," said Sanjay Malaviya, President and CEO, RL Solutions. "It is the one time of the year when the people responsible for making healthcare safer are together in one city, in one convention center, talking about reducing risk. We swell with pride when we see the amazing things our clients have done, and tip our hats when competitors advance the cause of patient safety. Regardless of our individual focus, we are all doing our best to improve the patient experience, and ASHRM represents the culmination of our collective efforts. This year, we are extremely proud to announce our latest modules—RL6:RootCause and RL6:PeerReview—as well as new dashboarding capabilities, as these were developed in close collaboration with our clients, many of whom have been recognized as the best in the nation at what they do."
RL Solutions will also be showcasing RL6:Mobile, incident and patient feedback reporting on the go for iOS. RL6:Mobile allows hospital staff to submit patient feedback and safety events at the point of occurrence using their iPhone or iPad. The app leverages the features found in today's mobile devices, allowing users to quickly type the details of an event, capture photos with the camera, or record information with the built-in voice recorder.
The other modules that round out RL's comprehensive suite of risk management, patient safety and quality management solutions, including RL6:Infection, RL6:Feedback, RL6:Claims and RL6:Risk, will also be demonstrated.
On Monday, October 28th, RL will hold its annual celebration of risk professionals and the work they do every day to make healthcare safer. This year's theme is a county fair and all attendees have a chance to win a weekend getaway at a resort ranch and spa. Registration and event info can be found at www.rlcountyfair.com. Visitors to the RL Solutions booth (#401) will also have multiple chances to win an iPad Mini. Draws will be held throughout exhibitor hours.
