New enhancements include mobile file management, support for Android and customized mobile event reporting forms
Anaheim, CA, October 26th, 2014 – RL Solutions, creators of easy-to-use healthcare quality and safety software, announced today the new addition of mobile functionality to RL6 that allows healthcare organizations to better report, manage and administer incidents and patient feedback on the go, from any Android or iOS device. This latest update expands on the mobile submission capabilities already available, allowing administrators to manage submitted files and create custom mobile submission forms based on the needs of their organization.
With RL6:Mobile, hospital staff can submit patient feedback and incidents at the point of occurrence by using their smartphone or tablet. Leveraging the features found in today's mobile devices, users can quickly document the details of an event by capturing photos with the camera or recording information with the built-in voice recorder. Once an incident is submitted, it enters normal hospital workflows set up by the RL Solutions system administrator. By bringing event reporting capabilities to the mobile device, organizations can engage all staff in patient safety.
With mobile file management, administrators of RL6 can now access additional functionality that was previously only available on the desktop, including viewing file summaries, flagging important files and assigning follow-ups. Through advanced security functionality, only those authorized to view submitted files on a mobile device will have the ability to do so.
With customizable forms, it is now possible for healthcare organizations to specify the information that front-line staff must capture on their mobile devices. This new functionality will save administrators time by ensuring that all relevant information is captured at the point of occurrence, thereby reducing the need for follow up, and making it easier to manage the file upon submission.
